Mary Baer ’71

Mary Baer ’71The world has changed tremendously since Mary Baer ’71 graduated from Carroll University. So, too, has her alma mater.

Mary’s long career forging networks in the Waukesha County business community has given her an up-close view of how Carroll has reshaped itself to meet the needs of today’s world.

“I am more passionate about Carroll than ever. The university has transformed itself into a much more relevant and focused career path for its students—without losing a holistic, liberal arts approach to education,” she said. “I could not be prouder of and more excited for our students and the opportunities they have today!”

Mary’s enthusiasm for Carroll’s mission is why she and her husband John have included Carroll in their estate plan.

“Carroll will be remembered via a contribution to scholarships for nontraditional women who want to attend Carroll,” she explained. “Whatever your motivation or focus, supporting Carroll University via planned giving makes a difference in the lives of the students, faculty, and staff by keeping the school as affordable as possible. We need to make sure that Carroll’s endowment is solid and growing!”

The world continues to change, but the need for a transformative Carroll education remains constant. Your support via a planned gift to Carroll will help ensure that we are able to provide that opportunity to tomorrow’s students.
