“Our time at Carroll brought us together as a couple and helped prepare us for our life journey together. At Carroll, we were challenged, stretched, and prepared to make our contribution to the world. In addition to finding each other at Carroll, we found friends with whom we are still connected.
“Throughout the years we have retained a connection to Carroll made possible because of the way in which Carroll has continued to reach out to us and include us; we have always felt invited to be a part of what is happening there. Much to our surprise and delight, our eldest daughter Sarah also chose Carroll, and it has retained a special place in her life as well.
“It has been great watching Carroll College evolve into Carroll University and to be a small part of that evolution. We are pleased that so many others are finding preparation for their life journey and know that they are making our world a better place.
“We have decided to include Carroll University in our estate planning to enable the university to continue to thrive and make a difference beyond our lifetime. At the present time, our gift is undesignated simply because we don't know what the greatest need of the university will be. We trust that Carroll’s leadership will use it well and wisely where most needed.”
