Jeff ’73 and Lynn ’73 Cummisford on 50 Years of Reflections and the Importance of Giving Back

Jeff ’73 and Lynn ’73 Cummisford

As we approach our 50th class reunion milestone, it’s a time for reflection and gratitude for the opportunities we had at Carroll. Remember wearing those orange beanies? Or women’s curfew (10 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends) and beer schlags at the union with a square dance? Places like Pucci’s, Hook and Shell, Club 400—places we weren’t allowed but went anyway! Reconnecting with old friends and reminiscing about our time at Carroll reminds us of the impact the university had on our lives. It also made us realize the importance of giving back to support future generations of students.

Considering this, we have decided to include Carroll University in our will. We believe it’s important to support the institution that helped shape who we are today and to provide future students with the same opportunities we had. We encourage you to consider doing the same and to contribute to our class gift as a tangible way of showing our appreciation for the education we received at Carroll.

It's our time to give back and help the next generation of Carroll students as they create their own memories.
