M. Susan (Sue) Borror Howard ’73 on the Significance of Annual Giving

M. Susan (Sue) Borror Howard ’73

Carroll prepared me well for a career in education that I loved! I taught for 38 years in the Elmbrook School District. I enjoyed the small classes at Carroll and felt I really got to know my professors. My education at Carroll also helped me develop leadership skills that have impacted my life not only related to my career in education but into my social life as well. Carroll is where I met my husband Randy of 47 years! Our son Dan followed in our footsteps and graduated from Carroll in 2004. Carroll is where he also met his wife Laura!

Carroll was such a positive part of my life with a top-notch education, many good memories, and long-lasting friendships! I am so proud to be an Alum of Carroll! Each year, Randy and I give to Carroll to further the college's ability to provide and enhance students' education—just like donations from alums and donors did back when we attended Carroll. It has a beautiful campus with updated facilities, and it continues to provide a high-quality education for students!
