Jeff Trader ’73 on Paying It Forward

Jeff Trader ’73

Fifty years! Being a Golden Pioneer almost seems like a dream. But what a pleasant dream it has been.

My experience at Carroll enriched both my personal life and my professional career. The liberal arts background made my life more meaningful and fulfilling. The strong foundation that was built over my years as a student fostered a life full of appreciation of the arts, spiritual development, community involvement, and a strong sense of self.

Many of my friends today are linked to my Carroll experience, either through my fraternity Delta Rho Upsilon or other Carroll relationships.

My academic experience at Carroll prepared me for a very successful career and an extremely satisfying retirement. Carroll has made me very proud of all that is Carroll.

I am very happy to have been part of the Old Main Society for many years and encourage your consideration to become a member as an integral element of your paying it forward. I feel that we are all very blessed to have been part of the Carroll Experience!
